Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The rumors are true. Lego is making a TMNT series!! It's awesome!! I've been a long time TMNT fan and this is another theme added to Lego's great themes. The theme is based on the new 2012 series. Brickapedia got these set images. First Kraang Lab Escape (with no picture yet), Shredder's Dragon Bike (with no picture yet. Then we have Stealth Shell in Pursuit, I think it's one of the Turtles vehicles. Check it out:
79102.jpg
In this set, we get Raphael  Fish Face, and A Foot Solider. Next set is Turtle Lair Attack, which we have the Turtles lair. With Leonardo, Raphael, Splinter, Chris Bradford, and A Foot Solider.

Last of the first wave, is The Shellraiser Street Chase, where we get Leonardo, Michelangelo, Dogpound, The Kraang, and A Foot Solider. Check it:

Hopefully the rest of the set images will come out soon. And we'll see the Turtles in Lego next year!

Lego Super Heroes 2013 News

Well, New York Comic Con is over, and lets get to the Super Hero news. First let's start with DC. We haven't gotten any pictures for the new Superman set and one Batman set, but the others there's pictures. First, we get a huge remake of Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout. It's over 1,000 pieces so it's now the largest set in the whole Super Heroes team, knocking Quinjet Ariel Battle to #2. But on the bright side  currently it's the largest Marvel set. In this set we get: Batman with a black glider, an updated Robin which I think is based off of his Arkham City appearance, An inmate version of The Joker, updated The Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Dr. Harleen Quinzel (Harley Quinn's alter ego), and a updated The Penguin. The Penguin and The Scarecrow after a few years return in this set. Check it out:

Next we have Arctic Batman vs. Mr. Freeze- Aquaman on Ice. As of now, the picture of the this set hasn't been released yet, but we get a White version of Batman, a Aquaman minifigure, and a new updated Mr. Freeze. Next is the The Dark Knight Rises inspired set, The Bat vs. Bane- Tumbler Chase. We get the Christian Bale versions of Batman, Bane, and Commissioner Gordon. Check it out:
76001.png
Then the three Superman sets based off of "Man of Steel", Superman Metropolis Showdown, Superman Battle of Smallville, and Superman Black Zero Escape, set images hasn't been released yet. And now for Marvel.  We only got one set image. First is Spider-Man- Hunting with The Spider-Cycle. We'll get the Spider-Cycle, which Spider-Man mainly rides in Ultimate Spider-Man. Next We have Spider-Man- Showdown At The Daily Bugle. This set is pretty cool because we get The Daily Bugle. Check out the set image:
76005-1.jpg
In this set we get Spider-Man, Nova, a new J. Jonah James, Doctor Doom, And The Beetle. This set is loosly based on the Ultimate Spider-Man episode "Beetle Mania". The Iron Man 3 sets, Iron Man Extremis, Iron Man Malibu Mansion, and Iron Man vs Mandarin set images hasn't been released yet. In my next post I'll talk about the new Lego TMNT!

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes came out on June 22nd (Though Brickapedia says June 19th) and it looks amazing! It looks cooler than the first! Here's the cover:
This is the first Lego video game to include FULL voice acting, instead of mumbles and gibberish. For Example: Robin is voiced by Charlie Schlatter who also voiced Kick Buttowski, and Lex Luthor is voiced by  Clancy Brown, who also voices Mr. Krabs on SpongeBob. Also This has tons of DC Super Heroes you can play as. In the first game, the only heroes you could play as is Batman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. But now you can also play as Superman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, The Flash, and more! Check these pictures from the game:

And the review card:
I can't wait to get this game. More Later!

Additional Features for Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush

Here's some additional features for Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush:
In this picture, the prison pod can be removed
And the fan is movable. And Spider-Man is sneaking through the air vent.  Funny stuff. More Later!

Comic Con 2012 Lego Super Heroes News

To be honest, Comic Con is one of my most favorite times of  the year. Panels, New Lego stuff, everything is awesome. Comic Con is just awesome. First thing about Comic Con (I didn't go, but someday I will) I want to talk about is Lego Super Heroes. First: DC. There's supposed to be a set based off of Superman's new movie "Man of Steel". The new Batman sets will be based off of "Batman: Arkham City" and Batman's new movie "The Dark Knight Rises". Also some more comic based sets that might not be based on Batman because there finally making a Aquaman minifig and more! Check it out:

The next is Marvel. It turns out that Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush won't be the only Spider-Man set in the Marvel sub-theme. Next year the Marvel sub-themes main focus will be on Ultimate Spider-Man and Iron Man 3 (Lego will be makings sets of based of Iron Man 3). Here's the new Marvel minifigs for Ultimate Spider-Man. A lot of people are probably excited about Doctor Doom (There's probably still not gonna be any Fantastic 4 sets) and Venom. Check it out:

Also if you won some Lego raffle and he are the comic con exclusive minifigs:

Cool stuff. Especially the Symboite Spider-Man. And Here's some more official news. Lego has announced that there's not making sets for Batman's new movie "The Dark Knight Rises" but they had the minifigs of the movie version of Bane & Commissioner  Gordon at Comic-Con (again I did not go) so they still might. Lego will be making sets off of Superman's new movie "Man of Steel" and Iron Man's new movie "Iron Man 3". And like I said before: One or more Spider-Man sets. So that wraps up Lego Comic Con news. Later!

Lego Super Heroes: Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush

The image (was released a while ago) and the release date for the new Marvel Super Heroes set "Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush"! The first Lego Spider-Man set 8 years! The set is based off of an episode of Spider-Man's TV show "Ultimate Spider-Man". I guess the reason why this set is being released in August instead of April when all the other sets we're released because the episode this is based on is probably gonna be released this month or early August. Here's the picture on Lego's Marvel Super Heroes site:
And here's there the picture (without the "Coming August 1st" banner):
Here's pictures of the set itself
Pretty cool. The set location is Doc Ock's lab in Ultimate Spider-Man. Like Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout it has a lab it. Next Is the minifigures. They have updated Spider-Man and Doc Ock's minifigs. Spider-Man now has larger eyes, and his legs are completely blue, with his belt on his torso. The torso there's more blue on the side. And the middle not much different but cooler if you ask me. It's not much different than the old one. I like the new one better than the old one. Doc Ock really changed. He's not based on the movie (Spider-Man 2) anymore so he'll look really different. He now looks like how he looks like in Ultimate Spider-Man. The new minifigure in this set is super hero Iron Fist. Iron Fist takes after his appearance in Ultimate Spider-Man. Here are the minifigures:
Cool huh? I can't wait for this set. More Later!

Cartoon Network New Shows 2012 & 2013

Hey everyone! Happy Fathers Day! It's schools out and summer's in. Finally! More time to do the stuff I want to do. Here's some things that going on this summer, in the fall, and in 2013 on Cartoon Network. On Cartoon Network there's apparently going to be a special called "Cartoon Network's 20th Anniversary Special" to celebrate the network's 20 years on TV. I'm not sure if this is true, but I hope it is. In the fall Cartoon Networks getting some new shows. A fourth Ben 10 series called "Ben 10: Omniverse". A show called "Scan2Go" and A Show based of of Dreamwork's movie "How To Train Your Dragon"plus  2 new live action series. One is called "Nick Cannon's Incredible Crew" a sketch comedy series which I'm kind of looking forward to because I like Nick Cannon and Adventure Time's Jeremy Shada will be in it. Also there's another one called "Team Toons" which I think will be both live action and animated. Not much is known about yet but you find out a little about at http://www.chrisplehal.com/team-toon/  And a show from singer Ne-Yo called "I Heart Tuesdays" is supposed to premiere sometime this year. In 2013 Cartoon Network gets more new shows. A New Batman show called "Beware the Batman", a sequel to 2003's Teen Titans called "Teen Titans Go!", A new Tom & Jerry show called "The Tom and Jerry Show", A new show from Lego (the TV show for Ninjago was a huge success, Cartoon Network & Lego want to expand there partnership with a new show), a show called "Grojoband" from Fresh TV (Total Drama, 6teen, and Stoked), and "PaRappa the Rapper: The Animated Series". That's lot from CN and can't wait for them.

Best Lock Construction Toys Review

What's Up everyone. Today I'm gonna give a review on Best Lock Construction Toys. They Look like like Lego's, their (not completely) compatible with Lego. But they sure aren't Lego's. This is the picture of the Best Lock Military Helicopter set I got a months ago. This picture comes from Amazon.com:
Best Lock is one of Lego's competitors. They're available at places like Ross, some pharmacy's, and now even in Toys R' Us and other places. Best Lock is less popular than Lego. I saw this set in Ross with my mom and sister one day and deiced it looked kind of cool so I bought it. When I got home to build it I made a shocking discovery. Best Lock is extremely poor in quality (there's even some plastic hanging off of some bricks). The Bricks don't stay together and when I tried to build the Helicopter it fell apart frequently unlike Lego. Lego sticks together extremely well. And even they get stuck and you get them apart, Lego has came out with a tool in sets (Like Lego Super Heroes Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout) called the "Brick Separator ". Best Locks's minifigures are pretty crappy and are well made. The legs aren't separated very well. The glasses on on of the soldiers looked like it was drawn with marker. They even have noses, which make look pretty ugly, and you can't even move their heads. Their was also a truck load of stickers to put on the model.  Lego has stickers but not many. Best Lock's instructions are also pretty bad as well. Lego and Kreo's  instructions are easier to follow, and their are no mistakes. Lego and Kreo also put their instructions in booklets. Best Lock on the other hand, their instructions are all on one paper. There are even MISTAKES on Best Locks instructions as the writer of yankeerino.com caught a mistake on the instructions.
Best Lock Military Set Page
In the end, I gave up with building the helicopter because I was fed up with it falling apart. Best Lock is a terrible Lego copy and has pretty bad reviews on Amazon.com when I looked at it. If you ask me I'd recommend to just stick to building with Lego and Kreo (and even Mega Bloks if you want to). Best Lock is a total waste of money. More Reviews Soon!

Lego Spider-Man: The Peril of Doc Ock!

Here's a brickfilm (Short Lego Film) of Lego Spider-Man by Spite Your Face Productions, to accompany the release of Spider-Man 2. Yep, Spider-Man had a Lego line. From 2002-2004. In my opinion (along with some of our staff), next to Lego Star Wars, Lego Spider-Man is one of Lego's best sets. Lego Spider-Man was Marvel's first Lego Sets. Originally apart of the Lego Studios sets (To tie in with the first Spider-Man film in 2002) , Spider-Man later got his own line of sets in 2003 (still with Spider-Man 1). Once Spider-Man 2 was released in 2004, Lego released 7 new Spider-Man sets (2 of them were Lego 4+ sets) to tie in with Spider-Man 2. But where would Lego Spider-Man go from here? After 2004, Lego Spider-Man was discontinued. Mainly because Mega Blocks (Lego's rival and competition) struck a multi-year deal with Marvel Enterprises. So Mega Blocks got the rights to Marvel;s block related toys and did the blocks to 2007's Spider-Man 3. Now Lego Spider-Man sets and minfigures are really rare. You wouldn't believe how much they sell for online! But I have good news: Lego Spider-Man is returning in 2012 apart of Lego's new line: Lego Super Heroes. I guess Marvel's multi-year deal with Mega Blocks expired because it's just Spider-Man that's the only Marvel Hero in Lego's new line. Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury, The Avengers, and more are gonna be in the line, along with DC Heroes. Lot's of people are excited for this theme, including me and staff. So Lego Spidey's coming back next year, and we all can't wait. So now you know the story of Lego Spider-Man. For more info about Lego Super Heroes go here: Lego Super Heroes (Marvel), and Lego Super Heroes (DC).  Now here's the brickfilm. Doctor Octopus wreaks havoc on New York City, and it's up to Spider-Man to stop him. It's pretty funny. CHECK IT OUT!

Lego Star Wars: Padawan Menace/Cartoon Network's Big Fan Weekend/Comic Con

Did anyone see the new Lego Star Wars special on Cartoon Network on Friday? It was great! It's apart of Cartoon Network's Big Fan Weekend, hosted by Destroy Build Destroys Andrew WK, and so far, it's great! Plus it's filmed right at San Diego's Comic-Con! You never see Disney or Nick doing this kind of stuff! They even aired the first Transformers movie! Comic-Con is an event held every year in San Diego. All the animators, voice actors, producers, and more talk to their crowd at panels. You can even get autographs there. To be honest, I've never been to a Con before, but I hope I can go someday. I saw a Regular Show panel at the CN Comedies section on YouTube. At the show's panel was J.G. Quintel, William Salyers, Sam Marin, Janie Haddad, Mike Roth, John DiMaggio, Ben Jones and More. It's really cool. I found out how Ben Jones came up with Alfe, J.G. Quintel's glad he's married because he's terrible with girls. That would be the exact same thing I would say after I get married, William Salyers actually went "AUUUUUUGH!" like Mordecai and Rigby to his wife, John DiMaggio got mad when someone said that Regular Show was better than Adventure Time,  and a whole lot more. Here Parts 1-2 to the Regular Show and more panel. I'll get the Lego Star Wars later. CHECK IT OUT!
