Lego Spider-Man: The Peril of Doc Ock!

Here's a brickfilm (Short Lego Film) of Lego Spider-Man by Spite Your Face Productions, to accompany the release of Spider-Man 2. Yep, Spider-Man had a Lego line. From 2002-2004. In my opinion (along with some of our staff), next to Lego Star Wars, Lego Spider-Man is one of Lego's best sets. Lego Spider-Man was Marvel's first Lego Sets. Originally apart of the Lego Studios sets (To tie in with the first Spider-Man film in 2002) , Spider-Man later got his own line of sets in 2003 (still with Spider-Man 1). Once Spider-Man 2 was released in 2004, Lego released 7 new Spider-Man sets (2 of them were Lego 4+ sets) to tie in with Spider-Man 2. But where would Lego Spider-Man go from here? After 2004, Lego Spider-Man was discontinued. Mainly because Mega Blocks (Lego's rival and competition) struck a multi-year deal with Marvel Enterprises. So Mega Blocks got the rights to Marvel;s block related toys and did the blocks to 2007's Spider-Man 3. Now Lego Spider-Man sets and minfigures are really rare. You wouldn't believe how much they sell for online! But I have good news: Lego Spider-Man is returning in 2012 apart of Lego's new line: Lego Super Heroes. I guess Marvel's multi-year deal with Mega Blocks expired because it's just Spider-Man that's the only Marvel Hero in Lego's new line. Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury, The Avengers, and more are gonna be in the line, along with DC Heroes. Lot's of people are excited for this theme, including me and staff. So Lego Spidey's coming back next year, and we all can't wait. So now you know the story of Lego Spider-Man. For more info about Lego Super Heroes go here: Lego Super Heroes (Marvel), and Lego Super Heroes (DC).  Now here's the brickfilm. Doctor Octopus wreaks havoc on New York City, and it's up to Spider-Man to stop him. It's pretty funny. CHECK IT OUT!
