Cartoon Network City

Back in June 14, 2004. Cartoon Network debuted their best look in their company's history. The CGI city look. The city look contains a bunch of CN characters (at that time and before that time) living in a CGI city. According to Cartoon Network Wiki, it's considered the best look of look Cartoon Network has ever had. Back in the summer of '04 or'05, Cartoon Network sent out a limited edition sample DVD of the summer line up of new shows and old favorites in National Geographic Kids. Including "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends", "Camp Lazlo", "The Life and Times of Juniper Lee", and "Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi". And I still have that DVD to this day. As some features to the DVD it includes 3 bumpers of the CN City Look. One where The Mayor (of Powerpuff Girls, and is the mayor of the city) comes out of the Candy stores and tosses his bag from the store in to the air and it flies throughout the city, a second one where Professor Utonium (also of the Powerpuff Girls) locks he's keys in his car. Ed (of Ed Edd n Eddy), Dexter (of Dexter's Laboratory) Nigel Uno (of Codename: Kids Next Door) and Mandy (of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy) appear as supporting characters. And the last gives you a tour of the city. I think Cartoon Network should have a whole show of the CN city because it's awesome. It was one of the highlights of my childhood. Here's some pictures:
I have plans to write Cartoon Network about bringing the CN city into a show because I would like to see Regular Show, Adventure Time, and the other new show in the city. Here Some bumpers from the era. More CN City Bumpers Will be posted later, Tell me what you thinks on the CN City Show idea.

Camp Lazlo: Racing Slicks/ Gone Fishin' (Sort Of)/Radio Free Edward

Here a triple feature of one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows, Camp Lazlo. A show that J.G. Quintel and Thurop Van Orman worked on before creating Regular Show and Flapjack. Created by Joe Murray (also the creator of Nick's "Rocko's Modern Life"), Camp Lazlo is about Lazlo and his friends Raj and Clam adventures as bean scouts in Camp Kidney along with other scouts. Plus Scoutmaster Lumpus (although in the last episode, it was revealed that Lumpas wasn't really their scoutmaster and was shipped off the a mental rehabilitation center) and his assistant Slinkman. In "Racing Slicks" Camp Kidney competes in a soap box derby, with Slinkman at the wheel of the Jelly Bean's entry into the race. In "Gone Fishin' (Sort Of)", Scoutmaster Lumpus tries to hook a fish in Leaky Lake, all the while trying to keep Lazlo, Raj and Clam as far away as possible. And in "Radio Free Edward", the Bean Scouts discover Camp Kidney has a radio station and decide to put on some radio shows. Edward fakes a yeti attack when his radio show does not get any listeners. More Camp Lazlo will be posted later. Check it out!

The Problem Solverz Season 2

Hey everyone! I just found out that The Problem Solverz season 2 begins on August 25! The first two episodes  are called "Hamburger Cavez"and "Puffy Puppiez". Here's the season 1 finale, "Zoo Cops". The Problem Solverz have been getting more negative reviews on the Internet, and need a cool case so they can become popular again. Street artist Dork Face (and to be honest, if that's his sub-name, it's really stupid. I mean he's insulting himself!) has escaped out of Zoo prison, and now to get him back in jail, they must team up with with Zoo Cop Lidget. There more after that, but I wouldn't want to spoil the rest. Also, If you didn't know, The Problem Solverz has been moved to Thursdays @ 5:30. Probably to make room for CN's new show "Secret Mountain Fort Awesome". CHECK IT OUT!

Regular Show: Meat Your Maker

Here's the 6th episode of Regular Show, "Meat Your Maker". It's the park's annual barbecue, and Rigby burns these special Hot Dogs that Benson told him not to grill. So now him and Mordecai must search for Hot Dogs in the to save the barbecue. It sort of has a twisted ending. Plus you'll meet Hot Dogs who want to eat people. Also, Tim Curry guest stars as The Hot Dog Leader (once you get to the middle of the episode, you'll know what I mean). This episode is really funny. CHECK IT OUT!

Phineas and Freb: Across The 2nd Dimension

Here's the great Phineas and Ferb Movie. That was really good. One of the best animated movies I've seen so far. I'd give Dan and Jeff a big hand with coming up with this. Also, YouTube and Megavideo don't have this yet, so I'm using Video BB. It's like Megavideo, and has a whole time limit thing too. It also has out of hand captions. So the a new line appears before the character says the line before.  CHECK IT OUT!

New The Amazing World of Gumball @ 7:30/ The Party

New episode of The Amazing World of Gumball. It's called "The Refund". Gumball and Darwin gets stiffed and try to get a refund from store worker Larry. This episode is really like Regular Show's "But I Have A Receipt" where Mordecai and Rigby try to get a refund and the worker won't give them one. Also, here's the last week's episode "The Party". Tobias's sister Rachel is hosting a party, and let's Gumball and the others come, but they have to come with dates. It's really good. CHECK IT OUT!

Weekend/Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz

Well, the weekend's almost over. And for me this has been a crazy one. Last night, my family and I went to this place called "The Premium Outlet" in Tannersville, PA. Well at first this Coach Canada  bus was blocking the whole way so we stuck for 10 minutes. It was poring rain when we went so I thought it was a bad idea to go. But anyway there was nothing really to do. But I did get new shoes. Then we got dinner at the food court. I got 2 hudge slices of Pizza. Then we stopped at a Candy Store and then went home. Then I saw the new Tom and Jerry movie on Cartoon Network before it get's released on DVD. It's pretty good. The DVD comes out on Auguest 23rd. Here's the picture:

I'll post the video when  I find a good quilaty video of it. See Ya Soon!

Mordecai and Rigby: Ringtoneers

This is Regular Show short that aired in movie theaters (but only AMC). But it now it aires on Cartoon Network after shows. It's 2 minutes long, which is the shortest Regular Show ever. Mordecai and Rigby try to write a hit song (later ring tone) but the park staff doubts it. It also has a really catchy ring tone. J.G. and William have done it again. You can download the ring tone at Cartoon Network.com and you can also see the short there too. CHECK IT OUT! Also YouTube has really crappy quality videos, so I'm using Megavideo. For non-members, after watching 72 minutes, it blocks itself, and you have to wait 72 minutes before watching again. Some people can get around the time limit, but honestly I don't know how. Here's what watchcartoononlie.com suggest:
Megavideo only allow premium users to watch unlimited videos however it costs 10 euro per month. We recommend you to open 3 videos at the same time and wait for them to load completely. Then open 4. video and make sure you have used the 72 minutes. When you reach the limit system will start to count down while that you watch the videos. If you see the error at the end of the video don't worry, if you see it in the middle you are unlucky :) Basically the system counts how much mb you downloaded. If you open 4 videos and you exceed the limit, videos may stop buffering in the middle but if you see the error(You have watched 72 minutes..)it doesn't mean it has just started to count down. Just refresh the video and let it buffer it will show you how much longer you need to wait.
So Again: CHECK IT OUT!

Mordecai and Rigby: Comic Con Message

This is a video that Cartoon Network posted during Comic-Con. It's Mordecai and Rigby (in puppet from) rapping about CN Comedies on Mondays. It guest stars Johnny, Dukey, Gumball, Darwin, Finn, Jake, Alfred E. Neuman, Alfe, Roba, and Horace of Johnny Test, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, and Regular Show (Mordecai and Rigby saved the best for last!). Also I have some good news. Regular Show Season 3 might premire August 23rd. CHECK IT OUT!

J.G. Quintel Interviews

Here's the link to Nick and More.com's and moniquej@deviantART's interviews with J.G. Quintel. There pretty good. If you didn't know why '80's stuff is in Regular show, well know you know. Here's the links
Nick and More's Interview with J.G. Quintel
Moniquej@deviantART's Interview with J.G. Quintel
Also, Here's Regular Show episode 5, "Free Cake". Rigby finds a plate in trash and him and Mordecai thinks it cool. Mordecai decides chocolate cake would look good. So then Mordecai and Rigby go out of their way to get some. This episodes also has Skips birthday in it. And in this episode, you learn that Skips is immortal. As shown in the pilot, Benson was supposed to be the immortal one (since he told Mordecai and Rigby how to end the rock paper scissors mess), but it was later changed to Skips. Weird huh?  But that's a whole other story. CHECK IT OUT!

Regular Show Season 3 Soon!

Well, "Karaoke Video" ended Regular Show season 2. According to storyboard artist  Benton Connor  season 3 will have 40 episodes. That's a really long season, and that's the best part. Here's what J.G. Quintel posted on his deviantART the morning before "Karaoke Video".

Karaoke Video

Mon Aug 1, 2011, 8:54 AM
New episode tonight at 8:15.

Karaoke Video By Sean Szeles!

Also, this is the last episode of 2nd season. It's crazy how fast that went.
Don't worry though, we'll be back eventually. We're in the middle
of finishing 40 more episodes of regular show, so there will be plenty of new ones
in the future.

I'll keep you posted as to when they'll be showing up.

Here's season 3's picture. Mordecai and Rigby are at the coffee shop. Pretty good picture.
I'm not sure when it the new season will start but I hope it's soon. I wonder when there's gonna be a Regular Show DVD. Adventure Time getting one on September 27.  See Ya Soon!

Regular Show: Karaoke Video

Here the Season 2 finale to Regular Show. Mordecai and Rigby do Karaoke but, and preform "We Not Gonna Take It". But I think Mordecai and Rigby were drunk when they were singing (Sort how I also Mordecai and Rigby were drunk when they were ordering to T-Shirts in "Mordecai and the Rigbys" (the Emmy nominated episode) But it was pretty funny) because they were dissing Benson, Pops, and Skips (mainly Benson) but I'm surprised they didn't say anything about Muscle Man and High-Five Ghost because they would have A LOT to say about Muscle Man. But anyway, Mordecai and Rigby wake the next Morning  and shocked at what they done, and Rigby destroyers the tape. Benson and the rest of the staff overheard "Karaoke" and Benson treats all to a Karaoke night. Mordecai and Rigby try to get Benson to re-think Karaoke night (because they guy who owned the place, was gonna play Mordecai and Rigby tape as a promo, and when Mordecai and Rigby try to get the tape, the guy (Carrey 'Okeys) bans them and says that he'll play the tape whenever he wants. Later at the palce Mordecai and Rigby sneak into the tape room and stops the tape from playing but soon a fight starts, and every one in the place starts fighting. Now it's up to Mordecai and Rigby to get the tape back. Also Pops preforms Kenny Loggins "Footlose" from the movie "Footlose". CHECK IT OUT!

Regular Show Season 2 Finale

It's finally here. Regular Show's Season 2 finale. It's called "Karaoke Video" Mordecai and Rigby do Karaoke at this Karaoke place, but I think they were drunk because while they were singing, they dissed Benson, Pops, and Skips. The next day, Mordecai and Rigby see the tape, and shocked what at what they did, and deystroy the tape but when Rigby mentions Karaoke, the park staff wants to have a Karaoke night,=. And the guy at the place banns them and said he play the tape when ever he wants to (beacuse he has a copy too). So now Mordecai and Rigby have to prevent the park staff from seeing the video. I can't wait for Season 3 to happen. But even I have even bigger news. At Comic-Con, it was annouced that Regular Show has beem nominated for an EMMY! And it's really had for a show to get an Emmy. The Emmy's air on September 19 so vote Regular Show for the Emmy 'cause J.G. Quintel deseves one. So VOTE REGULAR SHOW FOR THE EMMYS! It's a really big matter.

Saturday Morning Cartoons Vol. 1/New York City

Hey everyone! I took a few days off of blogging but now I'm back! I went to New York City today. I saw so many cool stuff. I went to Times Square, I got new clothes, and a new DVD. One thing that bugs me is that people on the streets trying to you to got on tours, sometimes even following you. I bet these people have something better to do. But anyway $10  I got "Saturday Morning Cartoons Vol. 1" from this people selling DVD. It's a REAL COPY. Not a fake. It's kind of awkward talking about Saturday Morning Cartoons when it's Sunday Night. But anyway it features various Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros, MGM, plus feature like Documentaries  on shows and Saturday Moring Wake Up Calls and More! Here's the picture of the DVD:

But, I think the best part of going to New York is going to Midtown Comics. That place is AMAZING! They have Comics, Comic Collections, Graphic Novels, Manga, DVDs, and more! What a place! They have some replica's of Spider-Man, The Hulk, and more! Some famous people in Comics sometimes come their! I even saw The Amazing Spider-Man #5 (1963) in Fair condition for 18000. Amazing how much those are now when you save your comics. Now I'm keeping my comics in Good Condition 'cause their gonna be worth a lot! Here's Midtown Comics picture:

So that pretty much wraps up the weekend. I can't wait to go on vacation , 'cause I need a good long vacation.
